- Alcohol and driving: Zero tolerance for motorcycle riders. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly penalized.
- Lights: Motorcycles must ride with headlights on at all times.
- Passing: Only pass on the left, and with extreme caution. Passing on curves, intersections, or pedestrian zones is prohibited.
- Prohibited: Lane splitting between moving cars

- Warning signs (yellow diamonds): Sharp curves, Steep grades, Falling rocks, Animal crossings and Narrow roads or intersections
- Regulatory signs (white with red borders): Speed limits, No overtaking, Mandatory lights, No U-turns or left turns and No parking
- Informative signs (blue or green): Distances to towns, Services (gas, mechanics, hospitals), Parking, Tourist routes and Entry to towns, rivers, mountains, natural reserves.
- Horizontal signs (on the road): Solid lines: no passing, Dashed lines: passing allowed, Crosswalks: full stop required, Bike lanes: do not enter
